Earn Your MI Teaching Certification & Master's

CUAA's post-baccalaureate teacher certification program will allow you to earn your Secondary Education MI Teacher Certification and teach grades 6-12.

Our alternative teacher certification program is 30-credits and offered fully online in a self-paced format so you can continue working while you attend classes.

Combining our MDE approved teacher certification program with a Master's Degree in Curriculum Instruction (MSCI) you can set yourself apart as an uncommon educator. Plus, it's eligible for financial aid!

This program is available fully online through our Ann Arbor campus. 

Students must get passing scores on the Michigan Test for Teacher Certification (MTTC) for their chosen content area.

Students must complete 600 hours of fieldwork in order to be certified - which includes 8 weeks of student teaching.
