Program Features

  • Uncommon Scholarship eligible to lower your cost

  • Courses offered online in 8 week (3 credit courses) and 10 week (4 credit courses) segments

  • Self-paced so you can finish your courses on your schedule

  • Coursework is available 100% online or on-campus

  • Michigan DPE approved program

  • Certification Options: English, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Comprehensive Social Studies, or Spanish

Courses designed with you in mind

This program is an accelerated route to obtaining teacher certification for instruction in grades 6–12 and your master's degree. Candidates can choose to earn a certification to teach English, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Comprehensive Social Studies, or Spanish. The 30 credit program is offered online or in-person in a self-paced format so you may begin taking courses at any time from anywhere.

Uncommon Scholarships

Are you eligible?

We’re excited to offer new Uncommon Scholarships exclusively for adult and post-traditional learners.

Ranging from $150-$500 per three-credit course, these scholarships can be applied to a variety of programs and are available to:

  • Employees of our corporate and academic partners

  • Concordia alumni

  • Current students of Concordia University-Portland

  • Transfer students from Holy Family College

  • Veterans and their dependents

  • Employees of qualifying Christian schools and churches
